A professional miner, William, purposefully gets lost in the passageways underground with the intention to end his life.

Once he starts, he regrets his attempt, but it is too late -
he is lost.

While fighting for survival in order to get back to his wife and five-year old son, William gains a new perspective on life that allows him to appreciate the small moments.
